They didn't use radiometric when starting the narrative, though.

1) Radiometric. Extra argon was trapped in the Flood which solidified lava quickly. Or, both potassium argon and uranium processes were sped up so that the mud after the Flood could dryp up more quickly. Mud problem and heat problem cancel out.
2) Consistent order. That depends on "rock layers" ... the thing is, shale comes in many different ones of those, as a material, and so does sandstone. The land fossils usually come in one layer and so the "period" fauna actually reflects the biogeography of the pre-Flood world. (The sea fossils come in different layers, as they were at different heights in the pre-Flood sea or sometimes where it inundated pre-Flood land).

Sure, a T Rex could be washed 500 km away, but if so would not appear today as a recognisable T Rex fossil. If a T Rex fossil looks like an assembled skeleton, presumably it was buried in situ.
