I suppose Our Lord was pretty controversial twice over in the temple.

I was, when arriving at SSHL for ninth grade, a basically Evangelical Apoologist. When I left after twelfth grade, I was a Catholic one.

With some school mates, minutes of apologetics was the most peaceful interaction we had.

I was only received after leaving High School, since I graduated in 1987 and was received in 1988.

Now, this kind of thing can happen online. I think Sips with Serra and the Jewish Catholic are in this kind of position.

And in fact, well before the internet existed, a certain Chesterton who was already doing apologetics was received in, I think, 1922. Writing was his career, he couldn't just stop and he had to explain why he left the Anglican communion. In 1922, he denounced Eugenics, before Pope Pius XI did so in Casti connubii. In 1923, he wrote a booklet on St. Francis of Assisi, and in 1925 he wrote Everlasting Man.

Another case like that was a certain John Henry, future Cardinal, Newman. However, in his case, he was given the explicit order to write before getting instruction. One often forgets that Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine is what reflects the Anglican deciding to become Catholic, while that was fresh in his memory, not the Catholic case as it would be presented by a well instructed Catholic.

The exact same thing is true about Apologetics.**

Trent Horn would be in a very great pickle if his pretence that Cardinal Baronius had said "the Bible doesn't teach us how the Heavens go" in the connection of the Galileo affair had been made authoritatively on behalf of the Church.

Cardinal Baronius had died before the Galileo affair, Galileo made the quote but didn't say what highly placed Church man, it's dubious if Galileo had even met Baronius, and I think the earliest person to pin it down to Baronius (a good apologist against Protestants and a holy disciple of St. Philip Neri) was in the 19th C. Perhaps the Anfossi affair.

I click Gavin Ortlund a lot because I disagree with him. I click Gavin Ashenden a lot because I agree with him. The algorithm cannot tell. And therefore you cannot tell simply from the time I spend on social media whether I get my information from trustworthy sources or not. But those who are most eager to pretend I get it from untrustworthy ones, usually what they complain about isn't my basic info, but the conclusions I arrive at from it, going beyond what my sources were clearly and openly saying. There is a difference between seeing the census of US population per age and gender in 1977 and in 2025, which anyone can do, and making the conclusion that those wanting to mentor someone have increased in comparison to a decrease in those possibly needing a mentor to mentor them, which is what I concluded. Like lots of people who'd like to mentor me on items of the internet and what I'm doing there, who are so old they cannot tell the difference between a post I naively trusted and a post I cunningly made. Even if I'm well above mentoree age, but some crooks want just any excuse to treat a man of 57 as if he were 17.

I have 13 000 + blog posts, not all Apologetics or exploicitly Catholic, so, the problem wouldn't be "can I meet the deadlines" but the problem is, can I get readers.

Meanwhile, I need a publishing house, because my blogs are not monetised, so, anyone reading them is reading them for free, and that's how it should be. It's in order to get pages of real paper to turn that you should pay ... printer and binder, publisher and writer, that last person being me.

So, OK, if someone opened a publishing house in the US or if TAN or Angelus decided, they can already count on readers for me ... less certain in France so far.

Responding to successive parts of her plea:

To some, dying is a grace which could even harbour salvation.

Outwardly, he did not confess the faith and was not pope. But his death exonerated him from the suspicion of being one of the two guys mentioned in Apocalypse 19:20, and perhaps God saw a faith that didn't manifest outwardly.

I don't think it's hateful to feel like this. And I hope, even if I might not have the courage to accept it, for death rather than to come into a place of irredeemable evil.

They have decided "he's not fit for prime time on the internet", I have a large number of views, but most are from people who deliberately want to make it difficult for me to get more of them, to continue, let alone to get a publisher.

St. Robert also held a real Pope probably couldn't become a heretic after validly assuming papacy, but also that heresy already there in the moment of the apparent election would render the election automatically null, and that was explicit Church law in his time, since Paul IV, I think. The bull was formulated so that even prior heresy already repented of would make the election null, that much was part of human Church law, but the part about heresy still not retracted when accepting apparently papacy, it would rather be a question of divine law.

And whether he's heretical in the interior forum before God is beside the point. Since automatic loss of office has to be knowable at least to some part of the Church, it is the exterior confession which counts.

I TRY TO earn a living, and this as a writer on internet. If anyone describes my writing as "petty internet" drama, that's one way of stopping me to get a publisher.

I am not sure that YOU deserve what I wrote here. But someone who prayed for me to see your video certainly does. Namely that someone who is judging me, who is maligning everything I wrote and write as "petty internet drama" ... and who is spreading that lie to "responsible people" all around me, you know what category I mean, the kind who can say "that guy is irresponsible, we need to help him come around" ... someone is saying this about me. When I say I am a Catholic and DON'T say I think Evolutionists are non-Catholics, they pretend I'm perhaps unconsciously inconsistent, I would be so ashamed when I found out such and such a person thinks Catholics are really Evolutionists. When I say I am a Catholic and DO say I think Evolutionists are non-Catholics, I'm being hateful, and need to be marginalised for that reason.

The man you consider as the late Pope was pretty certainly involved. People obeying him or reputed to do so, like archbishop and parish priests in Paris were without even the shadow of a doubt.

Get me right - Satan arguably could move someone's fingers along an instrument and things like that, but John Lennon and the rest of them had practised. But talent is from within, Satan cannot transfer that.

Now, he pretended Satan had perhaps promised John Lennon 20 years of musical talent and success, and when John Lennon was shot, it was exactly 20 years after the event.

This bypasses the fairly important thing that John Lennon wasn't the musical genius of the Beatles. The Beatles actually had their musical genius in common with later on other bands, like Wings, from which I have a favourite called "Mull of Kintyre (song)" on the wikipedia ("Mull of Kintyre" without parenthesis is an article about the locality described in the song). So, if Satan promised John Lennon anything in the way of talent, he arguably didn't keep his side of the bargain, since John Lennon actually relied on Macca for talent.

I would argue, Chad Ripperger is crediting Satan with more power than he has - a bit like certain Jews who say that it was demons who gave gentile peoples the new languages at Babel, while I think it is safely doctrinal to say only God was able to do that.

This girl just said she had Ripperger as favourite exorcist, and funnily enough above comment containing criticism of Fr Ripperger was taken away under her youtube video. Could be a coincidence. I am not saying that it is.
