First, however, about Greta:

Given that others spoke for her, does this mean she is still not released? Unfortunately, yes. I just saw news from Libération : CheckNews Flottille pour Gaza : que sait-on des conditions de détention de Greta Thunberg en Israël ?
Now to Debora Daly, as promised in the title:
How I Got Tricked By Palestinian Propaganda

3:48 The Romans had already conquered Palestine in 63 BC, through Pompey.
In the wake of the Bar Kokhba revolt, only people of Jewish confession were expelled, because only they had taken Bar Kokhba for Messias.
Jews and Samarians of Christian confession weren't expelled, or at least not as systematically, since they hadn't revolted. People of Jewish, Samarian and Christian confession, when expelled, had a tendency to get back to the country when they could safely do so.
5:00 "there wasn't really a group of people called Palestine"
Palestine is a geographic term, so far, the groups of people under the Ottoman Empire were called:
- Muslims
- Christians
- Jews
This doesn't change the question of whether these shared more like a common ancestor locally (Jews and Samarians in Jesus' time) or more like each group had within itself fairly equal ancestry all over the Ottoman Empire.
If people in the US move from California to New York or vice versa, it still hasn't gone to the length of New York getting a California accent or California a New York accent. However, moving is far easier with trains, air planes, taxis ... than it was for most centuries of the Ottoman Empire.
I would say, even over 2000 years, Christians in Al Quds were more descended from Christians and Jews in Al Quds (formerly Palaestina Salutaris) than from Christians in Constantinople and at least equal with Christians from Egypt or Jordan or Lebanon.
So, can we agree, Christian Palestinians descend mainly from Christian Jews and Samarians of the First Century, Mitsrahi Jews descend mainly from Jews of the First Century?
Because, Muslim Palestinians descend more from Christian Palestinians and Mitsrahi Jews than from Peninsular Muslims.
This is where Muslim vanity stops the Palestinian movement from actually proving their point.
5:05 "you had Arabs living there"
That's a language, a culture, but the identities were, as explained, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and the ancestry local, so going back to 1st C AD, it's Hebrew, not Peninsular ancestry. (Except for Negev Beduins, they arrived before the Muslim conquest, but after 1st C., and except for the upper class among Muslim Palestinians). (Muslims from the area).
5:10 The Palestinian flag isn't part of the ancestral Palestinian identity. Was there no English identity before the Union Jack?
5:23 Well, didn't they?
Whatever the unclarities of the pamphlet, if your family has gravitated around a certain set of villages since 2000 years, now speaks Arabic, does that mean they haven't been there since always just because they didn't have the Jewish confession? Are you saying a 1st C. Christian with parents buried after Jewish custom forfeited the right to the land when he became a Christian?
5:58 Jews would state that in Saudi Arabia or Morocco they are in the diaspora.
However, Palestinian Christians or Muslims would not agree they come to a man from Rome or from Mecca. Quite the contrary.
The Naqba targetted Christians too. The governments of the countries you mention are Muslim ones.
6:11 "Just like the people of Palestine."
Are you saying, if ancestrial Austrians or rather Norians and (East) Rhaetians and (West) Pannonians were to get persecuted in Italy or Spain, expelled, they would have the right to replace German speaking Austrians who have lived there? After St. Severine of Noricum died, people whom he had been ruling were evacuated to Naples and received there as Romans.
Should a hypothetic Noreian ancestry give Metatron the right to ask Austrians to go to Berlin because they are Protestants too and speak German too?
Wait, there are lots of Catholics, actually a majority, in Austria. There are also lots of Catholics and Orthodox among Palestinians.
6:42 When you say "Jews have always been persecuted" that's about as accurate as saying "Palestine has always been Muslim, even since Abraham" not true and also not true.
Self serving historical narratives on a very popular and actually ill informed level in both cases.
Jews have forgotten all prolonged periods when they were welcomed to a certain country, and Muslim Palestinians have forgotten when Jewish or Christian ancestors were forced to become Muslims.
Greta Thunberg FORCED To Get Rid of Evidence After The IDF Conquers Her Flottila!

2:50 "good that they didn't try to attack the Israeli forces"
You are still stuck with the 40 out of over 500 who tried to resist, back in 2010, Mavi Marmara, aren't you.
All of Greta's protests in the environmental causes have been non-violent, she has lots of routine in not resisting arrest. In Germany, she was filmed by journalists as police carried her away from Lützerath, and someone said "this was staged" ... no, German police knew she was not going to actively resist and had no orders to stop journalism, it was perfectly legit.
If you thought a boat with her on was highly at risk for resisting, you are ... I'll not say nuts, but totally ill informed.
The most probable reason the Freedom Flotilla has taken on so many Westerners is, they don't want another Mavi Marmara incident. That said, the ten people killed by IDF (nine immediately, one more dying after coma) were not a necessary sacrifice even for the illicit goal of stopping Mavi Marmara. It was not an act of fighting, but an act of summary execution.
3:37 I'm sorry, but the arrest of Greta was at night, and the man is standing in a room where the window showed the sea blue, i e it is already day light.
The Flotilla 13 commander here has had hours to empty the room or have others do so before saying this.
4:16 Another video showed Gazans shouting "we love Trump" while waiting for food.
Perhaps the headlines helped to persuade Israelis to let the food through ...?
6:52 After what I have heard, Hamas offered to self dissolve.
Remaining arms would be in the hands of Gazawi Palestinians, no longer in the service of Hamas.
I think that's at least as fair or probably fairer than keeping Hamas in existence, but using them as an excuse to disarm everyone who is simply defending the place they are in and not just Al Qassam brigades.
7:33 I've seen news, not the reference at hand right now, Hamas offered to totally self dissolve and not just "step aside a little" in order to serve as excuse for humiliating and disarming Palestinians who may have sympathised with (not the case with the Christian ones) but certainly didn't participate in the attack by the Al Qassam brigades.
8:00 Are you sure Jewish congresses weren't offered alternatives by NS régime and replied "no, the conditions aren't good for us"?
Apart from that, going through a genocide isn't a cue for total surrender. Have you heard of the Warszaw ghetto?

0:37 Did you just call Netanyahu Pro-Palestinian?
You very clearly described his motivations over decades!
[Wanting to keep Hamas in power in Gaza]
2:16 I can't speak for Greta, but it wouldn't be bad for mine.
I have huge issues with Trump, but I respect at least Vance and Tulsi Gabbard, as persons, and I did endorse Trump over Harris, from over here in France. Wish I had known about Peter Sonski, also against abortion.
Speaking of which, a nincompoop who took me for a faggot tried to get me less Pro-Palestinian by showing a person getting executed in Gaza for a certain "lifestyle" choice ... to me, that's nearly publicity for Hamas. I can live with sodomy not being a capital offense in France, I might prefer if it was at least a prison offense, for instance I could go to the police and say "someone called me a faggot, and I'm not, I'm being insulted with a crime" ... but I will not say Hamas are total barbarians for doing what the justice of Lewis XVI did (the last gay couple executed for sodomy in France was just before the Revolution).
Apart from that, I'd also prefer Hamas gone. Provided Palestinians got dignity and not what they have lived through since 1947. The best Hamas leader ever, Ahmed Yassin, got killed in 2004, and after him, people in Hamas started to dream of Global Jihad. That said, I don't think even he was totally adequate.
