Given the word by Otitodilchukwu, it's arguable someone had spread a rumour of Price being a sex offender.
It is possible that the young immigrants would have checked more carefully or punished more leniently with one of their own tribe ...
Someone claimed that "vigilantism needs to fix this," but the problem seems to be, Otituchukwu was himself a kind of vigilante against sex offenders of a certain type.
