- Sadness amongst the educated.
We have wonderful devices and systems that fit everyone's needs, because humans are letting go the religious mumbo-jumbo.
Evolution deniers shows that there is still work to do and that's sad, because education/information is easily available, for all.

The European school systems don’t fit the needs of Creationist parents or the school age children …
“because humans are letting go the religious mumbo-jumbo.”
Give me one example where that was the main driving force for a technical improvement?
And sadness … you presume your own type is the only “educated” there is?

- I can see that your creationist education, stopped you from knowing the meaning of words. I said “devices”. Maybe you can do whatever you want to your kids, in your country, whatever it is, in Europe, at least most of it, parents with creationist “needs”, simply get their kids taken, not like third world countries with a enormous mass of idiots, that continue to produce idiots.
One example… you're really very out of this world aren't you? Heliocentric theory. Look for it. You want a device? I'll give you a device, Search for Ben Franklin, do you know the guy? What did he discovered and invented? When you finally learn what it was, Search for the religious reactions to it.
My “type” is very educated indeed, I just don't call it type, we are all alike, and education is really simple, just learn the truth, is widely available, thanks to science. If you don't want to learn, please stay under the rock you've been living.

- School happens to be a device for transmitting knowledge.
“in your country, whatever it is, in Europe, at least most of it, parents with creationist “needs”, simply get their kids taken”
And the kids get their lives ruined …
“Heliocentric theory. Look for it. You want a device? I'll give you a device, Search for Ben Franklin, do you know the guy?”
As far as I know, Ben Franklin’s invention of the lightning rod has nothing whatsoever to do with the Heliocentric theory. And all devices (material ones) invented by NASA, I don’t see any of them would work less well in a Geocentric universe.
“My “type” is very educated indeed, I just don't call it type, we are all alike, and education is really simple, just learn the truth, is widely available, thanks to science.”
You are all alike, but you are definitely not all the educated people there are. I have study debts for still most of the 4 and a half years I took study loans, and five years worth of exams, and physically spent more time than that in a university while learning stuff … including but not limited to St. Thomas Aquinas’ lines of reasoning, a man who died c. 200 years before screws were used to attach certain devices (early on in plate armour) - and they were not invented by Pietro Aretino either.

- Aquinas, right… You've been tricked there. In good schools they teach reasoning and critical thinking, and you obviously need it. The lighting rod has nothing to do with the heliocentric model. It happens that they are two of many examples, where religious pricks, tried to stop science, just like you asked for.

- Heliocentrism is not a useful device.
And if religious pricks as you put it tried to stop the lightning rod, the lightning rod still was invented by people who owed more to St. Thomas Aquinas than to what you refer to as “good schools.”
I am sufficiently versed in reasoning and critical thinking to call your bluff when I see it.

- No, when I referred to “your type” I referred to sth you become by your own choice as an adult.
